This would make an excellent game for your childhood. As an underwater archaeologist, you explore the past through present times by impulsively diving into the ocean. This experience will rapidly push you forward through time and pull you back to the ocean floor. After a brief prologue, the game begins with scattered reports of shipwrecks in the Mediterranean sea. Deductive reasoning leads a worldwide archeology project to ship out.

The first line in the game is the ending of the opening story. It reveals that a fellow researcher dives into the ocean floor to uncover the truth about lost ships. To access one of these vessels, you’ll need to practice breath holding techniques and coordinate with fellow divers while underwater. Additional research is required beyond this point— you’ll need to master additional tools and communication methods in order to finish your project. You realize something is wrong when you arrive at the modern wrecks. A few oddly placed items reveal a diver exploring the nooks outside the ocean floor. You understand these artifacts predate your time; they're from centuries past, or even beyond your understanding. Many have served as historical relics for many years. Mystified by finding a diary submerged underwater for centuries, you quickly discern that it is a magically concealed tome.

As you work underwater, you periodically return to the land for brief periods. You'll be involved in archeological research during an excavation that’s brand new to the world. During this time, you’ll be thrilled by your childhood fascination with exploration and technology. By examining artifacts with the help of high-tech tools and equipment, you can determine their age, analyze their composition, analyze traces on each artifact and the objects directly with your hands. Proper judgment and careful consideration are necessary for this stage. Every object introduced adds a specific mark. The strange part is that no one can decipher what the secret is. You are the only one who understands it. My work in the research room frequently leads to brief sidequests that I’ve christened minigames. These hidden mini-adventures can be found in every aspect of my underwater explorations, from the artifacts I uncover to the challenges I face while traveling. Behind a strange magic diary full of mixed secrets lies a series of quintessential antiques from the past: history kept hidden from time. You also discover hidden mixed secrets behind this diary, which concludes with an epilogue that reveals more hidden mixed secrets. When you finally discover a groundbreaking discovery, it'll be the final step in your journey. And it feels like the beginning all over again.

The game's graphics are remarkable. Just consider how sad it is to dive into water looking for antique treasures that don't look real. Playing Dive in the Past doesn’t disturb everyone. I consider it entertaining but dark and psychological at the same time. When scuba-diving in the ocean for the first time, a person feels a sense of exhilaration. Then, a diver must enter into proper position to reach for antiques— this is sensed through x100 the precision of a first-time scuba-diver's body position. The impressive graphics in Dive in the Past come from referencing, purchasing copyrights and learning about older projects. Among these are the Budva Diving, Adrias, Bluemed and Gnalić shipwrecks; Oreste shipwreck; Sunken Nymphaeum of Baiae wreck; Peristera wreck and series of antiques underwater 3D multimedia modeling from the University of Calabria. Moreover, this game includes information from Greece, Italy, Croatia and Montenegro's underwater heritage.

Doing so requires you to master the use of high-quality scuba gear, as well as learn how to coordinate your breath and communicate with colleagues underwater. Subsequent research reveals that divers must also contend with numerous other challenges before making any headway. Rumors state that you instinctively sense something is amiss when you arrive at the modern wrecks. As you look at the disconcerting debris, you notice enticing holes outside the ocean floor in the corners of your vision. You recognize these objects aren’t from your era. They’re antiques from centuries or even millennia past that you haven’t studied yet. You're surprised to discover a diary. ———
